STATIC

Like LOCAL but the value is kept between calls. Same syntax as DIM. Only used in SUB/FUNCTION.

STATIC name [(dims)] [AS type] [, …]

name - variable or array dims - array bounds type - INTEGER, FLOAT, STRING, or a TYPE name

Example:

STATIC N = 0
