LOCAL

Declare a variable inside a SUB or FUNCTION. Same syntax as DIM. Required when OPTION EXPLICIT is on.

LOCAL name [(dims)] [AS type] [, …]

name - variable or array dims - array bounds type - INTEGER, FLOAT, STRING, or a TYPE name

Example:

LOCAL T AS INTEGER
