BOOT

command

Choose what the machine does after power-on or REBOOT, set with `OPTION BOOT`.

OPTION BOOT REPL OPTION BOOT LAUNCHER OPTION BOOT “app$”

REPL - start at the interactive prompt (default). LAUNCHER - start in the APPS home launcher, listing every `.APP` on the

PATH. Entries use the package's stored Title (falling back to the file
name without `.APP`). Esc returns to the REPL.

“app$” - start straight into an app. A bare name is resolved on the PATH

(`MYGAME` finds `MYGAME.APP`); otherwise the value is used as a `RUN`
target, so a full `A:/APPS/GAME.APP` or `A:/apps/HELLO.BAS` works too.
If the app cannot be found, the REPL is shown.

The setting is stored in the settings file and survives a reboot.

Example:

OPTION BOOT LAUNCHER
OPTION BOOT "MYGAME"
OPTION BOOT REPL
REBOOT
