HELPHELP

WHAT IT DOES

HELP opens the Overview. HELP command, or IHELP command, opens that topic. Keywords are case insensitive. HELP BASIC opens Contents. HELP INDEX opens the A to Z Index.

From the Overview, Escape quits. After following a link, Escape goes back. Unknown topics stay on the Index and do not raise ?SYNTAX ERROR. Colours follow OPTION THEME.

FEATURES

  • Links

    Mark a topic with tildes in the docs to make a link, for example ~CLS~. Unmarked words are not links even when they match a command name.

  • Movement

    Move with the arrows, Page Up and Page Down. Enter follows a link. A single Escape goes back, or quits from the Overview.

KEYS

  • ArrowsMove through the topic.
  • Page Up / Page DownPage through the topic.
  • EnterFollow a link.
  • EscapeGo back, or quit from the Overview.
